It's wild to me how drastically life has changed in just a few decades. Land lines, address books, paper maps, reference books, etc... obsolete.

And things like memorizing phone numbers & being unreachable when away from home. It wasn't that long ago these things were just a normal part of life.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

I love that I grew up in "analog" times. Memories of land lines (being unreachable while out & about), busy signals instead of call waiting, 4 tv channels so everyone watched the same shows at the same time. Not that it was better, just different. Thankful to have experienced both worlds.

This is Finley. He has a rare genetic mutation that causes patches of different colors in his coat. It is completely harmless, but it does make him completely handsome. 14/10 (IG: jaktlabben.finley)

Aww I had a tuxedo girl 20 years ago named Sweet Pea. She was a stray I brought inside and boy did she turn into a little princess! 😄 No more outside life for her, and her final few years were quite luxurious. 😽❤️

I have two, myself, but Popoki isn't mine. She's one of my client kitties who I care for when her parents are away. ❤️

My two kitties are Finny & Phoebe, a brother & sister pair I adopted from a rescue when they were 4 years old. Both are jet black and I adore them! 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

This is Annie. She is a dental therapy dog. Her job is to help patients experiencing anxiety by providing emotional support. While dentists go through years of schooling to treat patients Annie is able to lower their blood pressure and reduce anxiety just by being there. 14/10 (TT: funny.bunny9215)
