As we're still grappling with recent changes to municipal elections underway TODAY, the Alberta government announced changes to the NEXT elections.

They are to include a provision that "only those who truly care and are serious about representing a community or riding are allowed on the ballot."

Braid: UCP will decide who can run for office next time; only the "serious" allowed

UCP plans new rules to limit who can run in provincial and civic elections. There's a bill coming soon.

At what pricing?
There are a lot of Calgarians that don't even crack the $60K gross income.
The $100 that Smith is insisting on for ABns to stay healthy and alive is cruel when other provinces supply free and easy to walk in.

Got off the plane and walked into a drug store in Ottawa and got my COVID vaccine in under 5 minutes. No line up. No appointment. No cost.

Was even asked if I wanted Moderna or Pfizer.

It’s unconscionable that we can’t get this same level of service in Alberta.
