Doing exclusively trauma care these days but from an emergency medicine and prehospital background.

COVID concerned. The evidence is mounting for a tsunami of chronic illness.

“Might have altered the effectiveness”.

Imagine trying to publish a drug trial with a negative result when you admit that you have no idea if people actually took it.

Just curious…

Hands up if you just believe the science you publish and you think everything else is bullshit?

I’m referring to the half-decade of research & half-million publications showing SARS-CoV-2 can lead to new and worsening health conditions of every variety.

I’m talking to you academia.

"Policymakers should consider the consequences for workers, including the value of policies and actions that mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace."

Indeed, they’re mad not to. Improving indoor air quality is key, with other benefits too.

The lost productivity is staggering in scale. Mitigations are cheap by comparison.

“In this cohort study of employed workers in the US, the new year-round baseline for work absences appeared to be on par with the levels formerly confined to prepandemic influenza season conditions”

That’s certainly what my workplaces look like. And everyone pretends it’s normal.

The average fit factor FF for a surgical mask is 3. Many score 300 on an Aura N95. Which makes it two orders of magnitude better. Yes this is predictive of real world outcomes

In an extraordinary submission to the Senate, the Public Service Commissioner has blamed transparency for #RoboDebt. He argues for more secrecy to make life easier for public servants as they advise and influence ministers on how we are governed. #auspol michaelwest.com.au/too-much-tra...

In an extraordinary pitch for a public servant scrutiny void, senior public servants have blamed Robodebt on transparency.

Thanks Satoshi for this insight. Applying a “market forces” paradigm to public health explains much of the mess.

This, on the other hand, is fucking bullshit.

Arresting an elderly, blind man because he held a placard saying "I oppose Genocide. I support Palestine Action."

If this is terrorism, then water is whisky.

The Central Error of the Pandemic…

Is that of running pandemic management by laissez-faire socioeconomic principles.

If you grasp this, all the other errors fall into place as the inevitable consequence of following that line of thought. 🧵 1/x

And the govt just keeps pumping taxpayer money into the property Ponzi scheme. Who are they really helping?

Sorry, I known the answer is obvious. Just so frustrating watching no one addressing the real issues.
