Being an undocumented immigrant in the USA is NOT a felony crime. It is a misdemeanor offense.

I want y’all to think about that while we are routinely seeing ICE agents traumatize and terrorize these people who have not committed any sort of jail-able offense.
This policy seems to apply to all cases where SNAP-EBT funding in proceeding normally. It does not make sense that somehow this policy would be enforceable when SNAP-EBT cannot be used in a funding lapse. There is no danger of fraud when no one is getting funding.
Polls are as useful as asswipe at this point in time, but this is interesting in that normally we see the Reformacons take a early lead in decided voters and Lib support drop. We could call this the Trump/Poilevere effect.

I know there are more egregious things, but the historical inaccuracy of the costumes at that Gatsby party are going to drive me into a frenzy.

I have no patience with anyone who calls something "unacceptable," then proceeds to accept it.

How does Stephen Miller sleep at night?

Not just the morality, but that coffin has to be uncomfortable.

If Canadian PM Carney manages a “reset” with China, it will be the fifth reset in 20 years under three Prime Ministers. Two of those resets have required their own reset, by the same PM, after they went south. Heavy lies the hand on the China Reset button

Opinion: Carney wants a China ‘reset.’ May he avoid the mistakes of the previous four
To be sure, the Prime Minister has good reasons to attempt this century’s fifth reset

Just when I think Pete Hegseth is the worst person in the Trump administration, Kristi Noem says something, and I change my mind, then Pam Bondi says something, then JD Vance says something, then Stephen Miller says something, but then Donald Trump says something. Contest over.
Read what this twit Higgins says. No one gets $4200 to stock a pantry. They get $80 a week for food. Once again, attack the people on the program, don't address the needs for the program. Classic Republican distraction.
All MAGAts do is focus on the WHO, never the WHY such programs are necessary. Overwhelmingly the people that need things like SNAP live in poor Republican led states, with money fed to them by rich Democratic led states.

I have pointed out *repeatedly* that right-wingers are always promising how good things are going to get. Never about what they've actually accomplished.
But no doubt she will win. Bigly.
The MAGAt definition of DEI is purely racist and misogynistic. Nothing to do with what it actually means, ensuring that white folks don't default to the front of the line when competing with people just or more qualified than they are. Please stop using their definition.
Nothing to do with DEI. Pure pandering and overlooking the more competent golfers.

Alberta thinks that if it secedes to become a "51st state," they would be another Montana or Wyoming.

No, they would be another Puerto Rico. Or Guam. Nothing more than a U.S. territory which would be exploited while having no rights as a state.

Do Albertans not understand that?

If Mike Johnson worked any fewer hours, he'd be Doug Ford.
The Founders knew Congress - especially the House - was the backbone of U.S. democracy. It should be a huge story that Mike Johnson, serving Trump, has all but shut it down
