I'm starting to realize that my personal issue with Arcs aren't any "feel bad"-moments. You can get used to those.

But the lack of feel good moments. Or more accurately, all my achievements come at the cost of somebody else.

Succeeding and winning doesn't feel earned, but imposed on others.

Every time I come back to Archipelago, the game feels more nuanced and full of social commentary than I remember.

And while there are some major missteps (namely the icons for rebels and natives), there are just many facets that are more and on point that most other games of that time.

Is there a meaningful difference between depicting events/groups in a #boardgame and referencing them in a card/illustration?

Or are the two effectively interchangeable?
