Very much so, what? We all wish the tech entrepreneurs actually were instead of what they actually are. Although to be fair, both of those are in this film.

Boss, we’ve got a problem. Users don’t want this stuff! They keep wanting to turn it off, even when we keep turning it back on!

Boss: I have an idea

But yes, I had a great time at Tron Ares, yes, you are literally rooting for a tech entrepreneur, and yes, the movie has this fake tech entrepreneur who is actually a programmer and wants to do good things for the world rather than reinvent the library, but I'll take it.

Yeah, I was worried since Daft Punk are no longer around and Legacy's soundtrack was incredible so Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails did an amazing job.

We crossed the 200 mark a couple of days ago - we're currently at 212 sales.

Every single book sold helps us cover the costs, and will help us determine if we'll be able to keep AH Mag going for more issues.

Samantha sent me some incredible news - we've reached 200 preorders for Anime Herald Magazine #1! 💖 Thank you so much.

So I'm in disagreement with some of the critics, I thought Tron Ares and awesome. Really incredible soundtrack, I really loved it, go and see it in a theater it's worth it.

Canada is clearly different.

WTF we just watched episode 39 of Blackjack and he operated on actual aliens, what is up with this show!?

Indeed, Costco $1.50 hot dogs and $2.00 slices of pizza any day, they just added a fancy ass sandwich to their menu that'll set you back $6.00.

You know, people are wondering why local restaurants and such are dying and then I go and splurge and get a sandwich for lunch at a local deli and it costs me $17.00! FOR A SANDWICH.

So I've been investigating and I cannot find any reasonable reason to use passkeys, they don't replace username/passwords and, as far as I can see, aren't more secure than just a username/password with MFA.

Does someone have another opinion? Everything I see suggests they are nothing special.

We are coming up on that time of the year, the annual Anime World Order Thanksgiving Trivia Show! If you would like to help contribute to it please hit me up personally, DM me not the podcast. I love weird, stupid, unusual categories, 10-12 questions.

That...seems a bit like they're trying to cover for writing a comedy that's not funny. Like something you'd come up with after the fact.
geraldawo.bsky.social
OK, City: The Animation is a beautiful looking show, Kyoani really outdid themselves with the design and animation in the show, the problem.....the show...

just isn't very funny.....

I've watched 3 episodes so far and I think I've barely chuckled once. I mean this is supposed to be a comedy right?

It's crazy theory time with vi, as I think I have a theory as to why Dirty Pair came in such crappy cases. The reason? The set was made in Europe. More details below.

(disclaimer: I have *no idea* what I'm talking about here, take this with a grain of salt, it's likely wrong)
Dirty Pair TV BD case, showing how awful it is.

I saw that one in theaters, not my favorite of his work, and I think I understand the need to work out the frustration in some way.
geraldawo.bsky.social
I've seen most of those and some of excellent too, just a lot of those are pretty old, my point is that a lot of new stuff seems to lean heavily on gore to get their point across.
geraldawo.bsky.social
I'm not saying there there shouldn't be any gore, I would just like to find a few more things that don't feel the need to have explicit gore instead of atmosphere to get their point across.
geraldawo.bsky.social
Seen it really excellent.
geraldawo.bsky.social
Seen most all of those, some are excellent.
geraldawo.bsky.social
God damn it is really hard to find a good, scary, atmospheric horror movie now that is not just a gore fest.

Rui Rocks was a delightful show, sure a character has big tits but it's not a focus of the show, great little show.
