Mike Johnson has now had the House adjourned for 72 of the last 84 days.

Epstein Shutdown.
Naked corruption. Using public funds to prop up your political allies.
“What’s the benefit for 🇺🇸 in sending $20 BILLION to Argentina?”🤔

Trump says he just really likes their philosophy and will only send the $20 Billion if his pal Milei wins.

Imagine not being able to see this blatant corruption for what it is. (While our farmers struggle)
"Because it's immoral to do business with Russia"
I don't know will's entire history, as far as I know he is best known for coining/promoting the idea of a "vibecession" - the feeling that things are doing poorly when actually it's fine.

Which of course the Right *did* manufacture. Selling people on grievances real or imagined is what they do.
You're not paying attention if you don't think the Right has the power to fabricate a national 'feeling' about Biden - which of course they did.
"Trump's EPA" - say it with me.

It is your *fucking job* to hold people to account. That means pointing out who the *actors* are. It's not 'the EPA' - the EPA staff are honorable people who are there because they care.

It is specially TRUMP'S EPA that did this.

I thought they said it was wrong for an administration to ask a social media platform to take stuff down.
The Max Headroom generation, speaks.
Nor is it true that 'the coal trucks are running" coal shipments are flat and trending down.

Early fall, Donetsk region: an M777 artillery crew cooks underground under threat of drones.

Field kitchens are lifelines: hot meals restore strength, boost morale, and bring a taste of home.

On the front line, food is as vital as ammunition.

Me, a very smart federal judge, “but should we really have any right to put a check on the fascism of Dear Leader?”

On this date, Matthew Shephard died 27 years ago. He was beaten, tortured, and left for dead on fence for being gay. Please keep him and his wonderful mother Judy in your thoughts. And let's all work for a world where such horrific things do not happen to anyone. ❤️🏳️‍🌈
The New York Times editors are complicit. Never forget it.
The New York Times knows crime is not “out of control” in major U.S. cities — in fact, crime is way down from past years and decades — but NYT amplifies JD Vance’s lie without a fact check.
It’s journalism malpractice that helps the fascists.

CBP agents knocked on an El Paso home at 7:15 a.m.

The owner asked to secure his Rottweiler, Chop, in the bathroom.

While he got his ID, agents opened the door and shot Chop.

The family tried to save him as he bled out on the kitchen floor.
Also this: hypocrisy actually makes sense if it's a power play:

"Rules for thee, not for me" makes powerful sense if your goal is to dominate and humiliate.
Sure it makes sense.

Everything the Trump Admin does is performative. Trump is a narcissist, so the thing he mostly cares about is himself. His true allies and partners are oligarchs. and when he distributes favors oligarchs and the powerful are at the top of his list.
The editorial staff at the Washington Post are corrupt. Never forget it.
It wasn't like Trump didn't *campaign* on waging a trade war. They knew it. He did it last time.

Bottom line I think: they bought into culture-war bullshit: non-existent crime waves, immigrants, trans - and conservatives liked the way Trump hates, he hates the things they hate. That was enough
