They are not planning "a violent crackdown" on 10.18. What they are doing is sending a signal to their shock troops to try to cause havoc. But those shock troops will be vastly outnumbered. Go out and protest freely. Do not be cowed.

Not exaggerating when I say that SB 79, a bill making it easier to build housing near mass transit, is the most consequential piece of legislation that the Democratic Party has passed all year. Saying no to the worst people in our coalition proves we're serious about the future.

Today my daughter's preschool is holding a farewell assembly for one of her classmates whose mother has no choice but to self deport. The school is hoping it will be joyful in tone, so we might make this less upsetting for this 3 year old.

There's just no words for the uselessness of this cruelty.

This pretty much captures the contradictions of the politics of Kirk and Turning Point: Of course we oppose doxxing and violence, but we will absolutely use inflammatory language, false claims, and enemies list that fuels threats and intimidation.

Several days after publishing the petition calling for Dr. Bray’s dismissal from Rutgers, the Turning Point USA chapter added an update saying that it did not support harassment or the doxxing of him or anyone else.

“I think that all death threats and doxxing are unjustified and not how political disputes should be resolved in civilized society,” Ava Kwan, a Turning Point USA chapter member, said in an email on Wednesday.
But she defended the broader point of the petition, saying, “I think Dr. Antifa, who believes in violence as a political tool, should be fired, of course. Taxpayer money should not fund the salaries of terrorists.”

For years, Turning Point USA has maintained a watch-list of hundreds of professors whom the group accuses of advancing leftist propaganda in the classroom. Dr. Bray is on the list.

TPUSA linked propagandists dominated the “Antifa” roundtable- these people were recruited and trained to do agitprop, villifying public education, unions, LGBTQ+ people, pandemic safety measures and anything the right decided to target. None of them are “journalists.”

I went ahead and did the starting work for someone who wants to chase this angle. Most right-wing influencers who participated in the "Antifa" roundtable at the White House yesterday have easily provable ties to TPUSA (8 of 12). The other four need a closer look I don't have time for right now.

Mark Bray is an academic who’s been swarmed by TPUSA led false claims, death threats & calls for his firing— simply because he teaches the history of antifascism. After yesterday’s WH roundtable, at which many of the featured speakers had ties to TPUSA, he/his family found their flights cancelled.

Correct. Look at how CNP members continuously create new orgs- both regular nonprofits & “action” arms as 501c4- so they can force multiple efforts through copycat lawsuits in different districts (to force their preferred suits to the Supreme Court faster) & push legislation across all states.

When you listen to that roundtable & claims of organized networks of antifa funding, legal orgs etc, know they are projecting exactly the nature of their own movement. The Council for National Policy is an umbrella that includes the vast network of the right wing organizing, legal, policy machine.

Why we need accurate history lessons: #1 Posobiec mentions German antifascists because he is a Nazi and recognizes they would have opposed him; #2: antifascists originally arose in the 1920s in Italy to oppose the rise of Mussolini. Everyone targeting antifascists is telling on themselves.
