The ‘90s comics visualized the Vampire Lestat’s Halloween night concert perfectly. The Queen of the Damned movie totally made it look lame and cheapo CW looking, but judging from everything I’ve seen, the TV series will have the glam rock vibe of the comics.

Happy 40th anniversary to Anne Rice's "The Vampire Lestat," published on October 31, 1985. Rice's 2nd vampire novel, it turned Lestat from villain to glamorous antihero, & started her Vampire Chronicles in earnest. Fun fact; the book's big finale takes place on publication day, Halloween night, 1985
