The Portland thing gives me some hope because we, as a society, glorify violence because our government IS violence. But the cycle of retaliation can never stop without some really intense problem solving and big picture work.

I get called names a lot on here that span the gauntlet from nazi--they was today, because I'm an American--to bleeding heart communist.

It is a really weird time.
