Yes, even fascists have to account for public opinion. If Miller sent in the 82nd Airborne against dancing frogs even people in Kansas and Nebraska would say that's going too far.

But if some dipshit in black threw a Molotov cocktail or shot up an ICE facility or NG troops, we are fucked.

They are denying Miller want he wants most- a violent response. Never think things can't get worse. Right now he's only sent in a few hundred National Guards troops, to cities with millions of people.

What he wants is an excuse to send in the entire 82nd Airborne.

I'm a former soldier, I'm as far from being a pacifist as is possible.

But from a strategic perspective, any use of violence against ICE is insanely counterproductive.

That's exactly what Stephen Miller wants. That's why the inflatable animal protest is such genius. They have no answer for it.

I 100% agree. I think they are well meaning and like you say, they probably wore black to focus on the message.

My point is there's a larger negative context -the Black Bloc- they could inadvertently get lumped in with.

The Resistance must avoid looking like violent anarchists.

This is great but wearing black was a visual mistake.

Black historically has been color of violent anarchists and if the resistance uses violence, we are doomed.

Red, white and blue are America's colors and red and blue are already GOP/ Dem.

So the color of the resistance needs to be white.

The Dems need to unite (lol, yeah, I know) around one simple message - Trump clearly has dementia and it's time to enact the 25th Amendment.

Focus on the fact that a person with dementia has absolute control of the US nuclear arsenal.
