If you see me on here it's probably because I'm avoiding homework. But also I like a lot of things and to talk about them.

If you have not ever seen this film, or at least the closing speech, I recommend it. Discussions of this is part of why Dr. Richard Sears's History of Narrative Film course (@bereacollege.bsky.social) is one of my all-time favorites in my now 50+ years of education (including classes I teach)!

Oh frfr! It pointed me to personal responsibility and how I control the spaces that I am in.But that wearing my mask on a plane or when it gets crowded doesn't control what others do.What welcomes my friends who need masking is how *I*conduct myself with them, not requiring conformity from society.

Hella anecdotal but the two times I've gotten it, it's because a well meaning symptomatic family member thought attendance at a holiday or memorial was more important than their symptoms. This experience reframed how I approach public spaces.

This is the result of a lot of people pretending racism is one of the greatest taboos in our culture while failing to address racism substantively. People are appalled by the idea of being called racist while being totally committed to upholding racism throughout society.

Every time a Democrat gets caught on tape saying like “Some Trump voters are racist” we have a national scandal and JD Vance demands an entirely new kind of apology and meanwhile every Republican group chat is like “Good morning fellow SS members. Who’s ready to respect Hitler today?”

Then you will need more shelves. And when you acquire said shelves, the Legos will look much better in front of more books so then you acquire some books... Best keep them unfinished, you see where this is headed.

Question is: will you learn to fiddle now or wait for later?

Thanks! I'll need my coffee treat when I visit the liver center in a few weeks.

I'm pretty sure I remember that they added mall to 16th Street to deter people from oops I pulled onto the pedestrian walkway. So let's see what this does!

All of this and add: The sad head shake when someone has "risk factors" or other comorbidities that make it seem like someone had another crippling illness coming to them.

This seems like a good dividing point, yes.

Ah ok. I suppose that's a public record I can probably dig up but meh. It's still a lot more than I'd have guessed having seen his little "productions" recently

I'm so sorry to hear. I have friends who rely on the meal replacement shakes that made it into the report as well and I can't imagine finding safe nourishment and to have it not be so.

That really is a lot. Now I have other questions like were they hired all at once?

If it's helpful, many of the products that CR tested don't have the "don't eat ever" advisement on them but rather a serving per week advisement.
