I'm so sorry to hear. I have friends who rely on the meal replacement shakes that made it into the report as well and I can't imagine finding safe nourishment and to have it not be so.

I cannot emphasize enough how not saved evangelicals consider Catholics to be. It's a level of not saved enjoyed by the LDS church and also every single "evil atheist" that's popular. Very not saved. I also cannot emphasize enough how selective Mike Johnson's vision is.

Barna is weird. They just define this study as "American churches," but then they give some pretty evangelical church reasons to explain this State of the Church report. I feel like they've done better than this in the past, but maybe it was specific to ev churches this time?
