I mean, if you want to go for the *COMPLETE* saga, it's right after Wreck It Ralph, and before The 13th Floor.

The correct order to watch the Tron movies is:

Start with Tron and Tron Legacy.

Then watch the prequels, Hackers and Sneakers.

Then watch the side stories Wreck It Ralph and Free Guy.

And finish with the epic conclusion of Matrix and Matrix Resurrection.

People will respond more positively to a book that is by an author who is nice to people, and are more willing to be critical when the author is an irredeemable jerk.

And that’s actually fair and OK. Literature doesn’t exist in a vaccum.

I have this odd rule: if Hollywood casts a known sex pest in the lead role of a movie, they don’t get my money.

People have no idea how many homeless people in this area are serving their fast food or checking them out at the grocery store lane.

Want to solve homelessness? Build a lot more affordable housing and pay living wages.

Me, the DM: “An ent has been through the area having illegitimate children. Now there’s a small group of evil trees causing chaos for the villagers.”

The players: “is this a stupid pun-based adventure again?”

Me: “All copse are bastards…”

Tron: Ares is that rare beast: a science fiction movie that I’m not interested in watching.

And I watched Moonfall.

Don't make me tap the Robert Pattinson quote, Leto.
“I always say about people who do method acting, you only ever see people do the method when they’re playing an assholes,” Pattinson said in an interiew with Variety in November. “You never see someone being lovely to everyone while they’re really deep in character.”

Had a few hours to process this, and wanted to say thank you to the jurors and voters of the @theignyteawards.bsky.social for seeing - and honouring - this little anarchist-inflected SF novel, from the list of a fiercely progressive & independent Indian publisher ( @westlandbooks.bsky.social). Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a wonderful lovely game one that I love so much and I’m so glad that it came out when it did and was received so well ——— but let’s not forget the wonderful lovely JRPG games that came before it and deeply inspired the developers to craft this game.

Gonna be blunt. If The Sentence by @gautambhatia88.bsky.social had been a Hugo finalist, it would have been the top of my ballot.

It’s really fantastic to see @theignyteawards.bsky.social honour this truly superb novel.

I hope this gets it in front of more readers.

Oh yeah, I have a short story about this very scenario (well, trying to prevent it from happening). The research was both fun and horrifying?? Mostly horrifying actually. Less fun.

Low Earth orbit is filling up. Not just with #satellites, but also with dangerous, tumbling debris. As they collide, they multiply. If we do nothing, satellites will crash, creating chaos on Earth below. Meet the people trying to prevent this disaster. spectrum.ieee.org/kessler-synd...
