To be clear: I do not think our current situation can be solved peacefully. I think it will require serious violence but I'm also tired of people who glorify violence instead of treating it as an unfortunate necessity.

I mean I don't either but I'm also tired of people who call for violence and belittle nonviolent protesters without ever putting themselves in the line of fire. Armchair quarterbacking is even more useless and only serves to make the critic feel superior.
