Our own federal government attacked a Chicago apartment building in the dead of night, indiscriminately pulling people from their beds, including US citizens. Some people were dragged naked into the street. This is political violence. These are Nazi tactics.

Yes. Democrats don't realize that parties should use polls to change how to get what they want. This is what Republicans do.

Democrats, by contrast, modify their policies to match the public. It's dead wrong. And our country is being smothered because of this bad approach.

No, it's not a glaring comparison of priorities.

"Priorities" framing works only when all of the things being compared are either good or bad.

It's not that Republicans want X thing more than they want Y thing. It's that they are *against* Y thing, and the "priorities" framing occludes that.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but the CDC is being eviscerated right now. America is not going to have any kind of outbreak response capacity after tonight. Americans’ health data is no longer secure. Say goodbye to federal public health in any capacity. It’s a disaster. We won’t recover.
