Since the Fascists have seized our national currency, we need to get busy using sub federal public institutions to create public money.

@moneyontheleft has been doing the work on this. Highly recommend.

Corporate Dem Rep Henry Cuellar & his wife were indicted in March 2024 for accepting hundreds of thousands in foreign bribes.

Trump just pardoned them.

Hakeem Jeffries is praising Trump’s decision as “exactly the right outcome” & praising Cuellar as “a beloved member of the House.”

Ridiculous.😐

This is becoming a cycle:

-Assault/shoot/abduct someone
-Press charges against the *victim* to muddy the waters
-Defame said victim in public
-Quietly drop charges when it’s time to back up those claims

One of the best pieces you'll read on AI's existential threat to education. Highlight here is its emphasis on the complicity of university administrators in this fiasco. Any respectable president or chancellor would have called for Congressional hearings for this being unleashed with no forethought.
AI is Destroying the University and Learning Itself
Students use AI to write papers, professors use AI to grade them, degrees become meaningless, and tech companies make fortunes. Welcome to the death of higher education.

I wish I was a Constitutional scholar & historian so I could give a better arg for why the most important revolution was the creation of our Constitutional Public Money.

& that it’s not “optional”, but Constitutionally determined, that our gov should pay for a big, wealthy, diverse, public sector

1. Jared Kushner's trip to Moscow yesterday was not just unethical; it was illegal.

You cannot accept tens of millions of dollars from foreign governments and simultaneously conduct high-level diplomacy for the federal government.

It says it right in the Constitution.
Kushner’s Moscow mission wasn’t just corrupt. It was unconstitutional.
Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law, has been traveling the world to participate in high-stakes foreign policy negotiations on behalf of the president.

The elevator pitch is: if Fordism defined the capitalism of the 20th century, Muskism may well define the capitalism of the 21st.
