A thing I've been mulling over for a while:
- if you have a favourite airport in your country you are flying too much.
- if you can rate airports all over your continent you are flying way too much
- if you can rate airports all over the world you are flying way WAY too much
Climate change is real

So it now appears the woman Farage and Gill were so close to has a direct link not only to Putin’s “Man in Ukraine” Medvedchuk, but his predecessor as President, Medvedev

These are top Russian agents.

So far, I'm really enjoying The Nerve as an independent publication: give them a look.

My colleagues & I have taken a huge gamble to set up @thenerve.news We’re trying to build a new independent publication from the ground up. Social media is our only distribution for now.

Sharing this article in your networks would make a huge difference. Thank you! 🙏🙏🙏

My friend Sascha is a professional musician and he's lost a viola bow on the way to Heathrow. Please signal boost to help him get it back.
Lost viola bow on the way from Honor Oak Station to Heathrow Terminal 2. The bow slid from its bow case somewhere along the way, possibly on the train. TFL contacted already.
It weighs 68.2 grams and has got a stamped DODD next to the frog. If any info on this, please pm me.
Of course it is, that sort of group think women belong in the home with five kids and another on the way at twenty-one.
This sort of shit is why we need the right to an abortion, with no caveats, enshrined in law.
henrymance.ft.com
The right-wing campaign group that helped topple Roe v Wade in the US is now working to roll back abortion laws in the UK, with the help of Nigel Farage.

Its first step? Trying to create a debate around "free speech"

This image shows a stack of six lightning bolts nearly striking the same spot six time in only one minute of elapsed time! Mother nature really had it out for whoever was down there... #photography
A sculpted, layered LP supercell at night. The structure is illuminated by six lightning strikes hitting the ground to the right of the storm. A clear, starry night sky is on the left of the storm. A car's headlights can be seen in the distance.
Lovely, and I would have shared it had you used alt text.

Govt will rent carriages.

Lucrative freight and rolling stock companies remain privatised.

3 Luxembourg-based companies control 87% of rolling stock, paid £1.3bn dividend in last 3 years which bears no UK tax.

Walking through Birmingham city centre yesterday and there was a huge noisy group of far right protestors. A marked difference from the usual performers and preachers from many different faiths. Even the elderly white couple I was with felt intimidated by the aggression and hatred on show.

Glad to see Nigel Farage has finally remembered Nathan Gill, former leader of Reform in Wales - found guilty of taking bribes from Russia.

Maybe he'll now remember how much he took from Putin's propaganda broadcaster Russia Today for all his TV appearances when he was a MEP?

I wanted to talk a bit more about this yesterday but was a bit under the weather for anything detailed or coherent, so lets have a go today.

I want to expand upon some of the analysis around potential impacts for a bit of a deeper dive.
