It's also hard to convey just how much ICE is *everywhere*. The city, the suburbs, in and out in the blink of an eye. A crew doing smash and grab jobs across a massive expanse of distance. Part of the reason whistle distro is so important is because you will never know where/when you will need it.

It’s hard to convey just how much Chicagoans are mobilizing against ICE. Don’t want to downplay the harm, or make it seem like a fair fight. But in neighborhoods across this city, ICE is getting chased by people blowing whistles and shouting. People are running TOWARD ICE to protect their neighbors.

once when I was pregnant, I watched a guy dump out the brine before he ate every oyster and my husband had to give me murder eyes to be quieter in my judgement bc we were at a communal table and my displeasure was apparently "so obvious"

the thing about learning how to code on an linux machine is that all of muscle memory for my text editor assumes a particular placement of C- and M- but wow those are not in the same place on a mac.
