The point was that I didn't notice anything on first watch to suggest it was fake, not that you can't find stuff if you're looking for it. Though for the record, the only one of those I agree with is the shadow, and even that could just be weird camera angle stuff.

So to be clear, usually AI has some giveaways. Not just the misshapen stuff, or weird transitions, etc, but also just like this uncanny valley of instagram feel, or just the look of the people (too generically attractive). This one didn't have any of that stuff.

Boston Dynamics is secretive, so all we have to go by are their videos. But as far as I have seen, while they have greatly improved stuff like balance and recovery, getting a robot to walk consistently from point A to point B over real world obstacles without getting stuck is still pretty far off.

I would have thought "robot that can walk on two legs in 3D space without getting stuck or falling over" would be the easier problem. But it isn't!

I think it's pretty wild that we made computer that can write with apparent (not real) intelligence long before we created animal-like robots that can be generally coordinated in 3D space

Also worth noting that magazine capacity limits are less common than you would imagine outside of Commonwealth countries. When they do exist, it's not like 5-10 rounds, it's "no drum mags"
