I was seeking an "Okay what the f*ck do we do now?" plan of sorts. Stumbled across protectdemocracy.org which lists several concrete actions you can take, as well as in-depth information about authoritarianism (hint: they want you to lose hope--don't let them).

Unbeknownst to most or long forgotten is that on October 8 and October 10, 2023; Hamas offered the same deal that’s being pitched as Trump’s “Gaza Peace Deal” which would have handed all hostages over to Israel in exchange for Israeli troops not entering the strip, Netanyahu refused the proposal.
