Every organization knows IT equipment is depreciated over time, typically over 3-6 years. Many orgs lease the equipment vs. buying to force the refresh cycle. No one is buying a GPU thinking it'll last forever. These deals are about the technology and the potential innovations by the manufacturer.

A bunch of these circular AI deals are treating GPUs like they're real estate or Treasury bonds or something, rather than rapidly depreciating equipment with a high risk of obsolescence well within 5 years due to energy inefficiency and rising electricity costs.

How do you know it's a cop? The van is unmarked. No badge, no insignia that can be seen. I'm sure they didn't "identify" themselves before pointing a weapon at that woman. If it's me, I'm standing my ground.
