You wouldn’t be so stressed about money if your kid was able to get free lunch. You wouldn’t be so stressed about your doctor if they hadn’t stopped taking your insurance. You wouldn’t be so stressed about rent if you had rent control. Your failure to engage in politics is *why* your life is hard
It makes absolutely no sense. These nominees will be voted thru by R votes alone. Make them do it. Don’t put your stamp of approval on the next Trump judge that will ignore the constitution and allow him to put the military on our streets. These are the easiest no votes possible and they can’t do it
Also it’s an easy purity test. Really shouldn’t be that hard to ace.

It sounds like the Republicans should stop protecting Bill Clinton and release the Epstein files.
Comer: The evidence we gathered does not implicate President Trump in any way. Public reporting, survivor testimony, and official documents show that Bill Clinton had far closer ties to Epstein
Showing up at a Congressman’s office unannounced demanding a meeting is unbelievable hubris. Not surprising though.

DC Superior Ct operates on a separate budget but most of the staff, PDs, AUSAs, and I believe our judges aren’t getting paid. I have mixed feelings bc of course I don’t want my colleagues to have to deal with this financial pain but I also don’t want the Dems to cave. It’s just Rs dgaf and never do.

This is the asymmetry in our politics and media. If this was the other way around, Biden had pardoned someone then charged with trying to kill Trump, it would be the biggest story in America and every Republican commentator, congressman, news outlet, would be screaming about it in unison.

This is an ongoing thread I will be updating to post examples of violent rhetoric from prominent Republicans and media personalities. It's going to include a lot of material, so please send examples.

Donald Trump uses the most violent speech, but he's far from alone.

There’s a limit to the “imagine if Obama” retort but Christ on a cracker the man is *literally* demolishing the White House!
If Obama or Biden or Clinton had demolished a significant part of the White House to build a privately funded edition that they commissioned and approved without public input they would have been summarily impeached.
Scoop: Trump has started demolishing the White House's East Wing facade to build his ballroom. The president had claimed construction of the $250 million building wouldn’t ‘interfere’ with the existing White House structure. /W @ddiamond.bsky.social wapo.st/4hqBNiU

It's not some technicality. He is disqualified because he did the one thing that puts you outside of legitimate politics: betraying your oath by violently attempting to destroy the constitutional order itself. That's breaking the rules in a way that gets you kicked out of the game, by necessity.

I’m just sick. One of my students-a sweet, kind freshman came to my office yesterday. Through the sobs she told me how her brother, a 22 year old dreamer, brought to this country from Guatemala when he was a child, was abducted by three men on his way to work. They don’t know where he is.
Trying to share a gift link. I wish they would note that the majority of the alleged Venezuelan gang members weren’t, you know, in any gang but I guess there’s only so much room for the administration’s lies to be corrected.
