i don't think people outside the industry fully appreciate the scope of what they provide relative to their resources, and i think they should be the first click for non-chicagoans trying to understand chicago right now

i feel very good about being able to exist and get along in all kinds of spaces, but i keep a small close circle built on trust and consistency and don't invest much in other connections

I think a lot of thing people struggle with is the difference between reporting and capital-C Content is that you do, in fact, have to maintain some objectivity—something that's hard to do under the best of circumstances for entirely fair, reasonable causes.
