This is how I feel about AI in the nonfiction/true crime space. If you're vulnerable to being replaced by a computer program, that's only because you're writing lazy, half-assed crap in the first place.
If you think your job is making money off slop for the unwashed masses then yeah you should panic, but that sure doesn’t mean that art is dead because a computer can produce a reasonable quality facsimile of what you do.

"I don’t pay to go to church, to get a spiritual message, you know? And if you’re true, and your mission is to relay facts that are fundamentally important for people’s well-being, do I need to pay you for that?"
Most Americans don’t pay for news and don’t think they need to

Same, but there's little distinguishing her actions from others who made irrational short-term decisions after Kirk was shot. So I'm sympathetic, but it was her job to see beyond the news cycle.

But also? I don't find it burdensome at all to vote against fascists. It's a great pleasure that takes minimal effort.

Ron Johnson: "Why would they to remove their masks? Because they want these officers exposed, they want them afraid, they don't want to carry out their enforcement actions. They want judicial warrants, which would completely neuter ICE's ability to apprehend"

I'm asked what my favorite John Williams score is.
I don't have a favorite, but for me, the opening titles of SUPERMAN (1978) is always a thrill.
For five full minutes, the music is front and center. It's truly a full-fledged overture. Which we rarely hear anymore these days.

yes, and I know I'm a broken record about this, but. . . KILLER OF SHEEP, too, is among the greatest movies of the '70s. It's never gotten the deserved attention.
watched TO SLEEP WITH ANGER yesterday and i know i'm late on this but what a picture. bona fide masterpiece of american filmmaking.
