We’ve been watching and going to honestly too many events since it started. It was so nice to have an alternative because WWE was shit even then. AEW isn’t perfect but it’s gotten only better and honestly is now the best it’s ever been, so you picked a great time to start.

Cont/ we were excited for most of the card, but they just seemed committed to getting it wrong. And of course they fucked on the two first ever (I think) Asian rumble winners. Killed Nak’s momentum to put him in a literal “I no speak the English” and dick punches gimmick. Fucking awful.

It was still cool to be in the building, but honestly this and the Asuka/Charlotte match were the main reasons we went, because we had also been in the audience for that year’s Royal Rumble, which was honestly amazing and a bright spot. They had such momentum and ruined it all.
