I'm Keith.
I am a computer programmer with a focus in #ProceduralGeneration / #ProcGen, a game designer for board and computer games, an RPG Textbook Layout artist, a wargaming terrain builder, and a drummer.

Interesting video - thanks to some third-party drivers, 'defunct' Microsoft WMR VR headsets are getting a new lease of life.

In short, if you've got a decent PC with an Nvidia GPU (AMD is wonky), you can snag an okay headset for under $100. Supplies do seem to be thinning out a bit though.

greyboxing the attack system. No damage, just targeting (and range legality), and a little tween to show it being an actual attack.

this little maneuver (and it's associated refactoring) is going to cost us about six hundred lines of code changes...

(But what about future deadlines? Well there's enough crowbars being picked up when smoking through the tickets to give me more than 200 free rerolls at the store to find more cigarettes. And the coin tray currently has enough money to pay for the NEXT deadline)

(It's gone soft infinite thanks to the number of tickets I get generate from Thimble and cigarettes in the lucky charm store. Refresh enough times to find Music Tapes and Weird Clocks and to replace the Electrician / Personal Trainer when they burn out, and every round creates six more rounds)

(the combo trick here is the Nuclear Button and some AA Batteries on the Clover Photo, Number Two, and Midas Touch... and even then Midas Touch isn't wholly necessary. It has Electrician and Personal Trainer as well. We're beyond 99.5% Clover Chance, each time the payout doubled by Big Mushroom)

Overall, all of this together has left us with around 80,000 players in three days

My biggest takeaway from this launch, is that times have well and truly changed. Having a great game is still half the battle... but if you don't have the money to pay for success, you'll likely have problems
