Yeah we're in the part of the year where the sun never touches the ground in the square and streets around me here in Stockholm. People in my apartment building regularly go round the corner to go stand in the gap between the apartment blocks and the motorway to get a few minutes' sunlight.

I went from DnD to Pathfinder, back to DnD for 5th and then straight into PBTA and story games where suddenly names like Baker, Alder, Harper, Koebel and LaTorra, Crane, and Morningstar suddenly meant something and stuck in my mind alongside the friends I was designing games with.
Conversation with @deadlyfredly.bsky.social has me trying to remember the first time I consciously remembered the name of an RPG designer who wasn’t Gygax. Embarrassingly, I am pretty sure it wasn’t until college, after I’d been playing for years and had been exposed to many games.

I think it's reasonable to say "I'm not interested and maybe dont have the capacity or resources to engage in philosophy & policy. I want all people to thrive. Tell me where to stand, protest, strike, & vote towards that end. So I can focus on the other ways I support others."
