If the officiating last night was even mediocre the Bears probably win by 10. The Bears were finally resilient enough to overcome that for a change so fortunately it's a moot point, but those calls were huge swings in the game.

I feel like the Bears needed to win the game in this specific way to exorcise the demons from last year. Washington probably should've won that game but blew it just like the Bears did. Another character win for Johnson though

He meant it the way people usually say it like "makes you wonder" but begging the question means you're assuming the premise of your question is true. Which what he's doing (lying)

There was actually a pattern to the first 3 numbers too that was roughly based on where you lived because of the way landlines were built. So when I was growing up it was 754, 755, 756 (actually this still exists as a legacy thing)

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

Whenever she's nursing the puppies and I go in the big cage with her she will lick my face, then jump out of the cage. It's like she's saying "thanks for the break, you got this, I'm out"

I'm over at my best friend's house keeping the dogs company while she's out for the night, and there is a sweet mama dog who's nursing 10 puppies (the poor girl is perpetually exhausted) and she's farted like 20 times since I've been sitting here. And she farts like a human too

I had never seen Mean Girls until watching it this weekend and I didn't realize what a huge hole that was in my cultural literacy because that movie is like one entire series of one-liners and memes that are still used today 😆

Granted, it's hard to see the whole play at once from the TV view, but most of what's indicating what's happening on the play happens within a few yards from scrimmage

It's kinda ironic to me that most people (if for no other reason than habit from other sports) watch football by following the ball, so much of the time they're watching the QB making his reads, which is the one part of the play where nothing is really happening

I'm not a huge Gavin Newsom fan or anything, and this isn't a novel observation I'm making, but the way the media responds to his ridiculous tweeting is incredibly revealing, and when he asks why they just started caring and they never asked Trump that question they can't answer
