Americans are far more likely to need DEFENSE against disease than foreign bombs & bullets. But the GOP's evisceration of our federal agencies that protect us against disease is intended to leave us defenseless. A diseased, ignorant, & impoverished populous is easy to control.

It's absolutely infuriating. There is a plain truth to report - there are no American cities in need of federal troops to keep the peace. None. That should be the headline in every responsible news outlet from now until this crap is over.

Collect a claim from one side, collect a claim from the other, present them both to the reader with an awkward shrug and a "who can say?"

And the photo choice -- Noem's looking down ... on what? The reverse angle showed a small crowd and a quiet street. But can't show that, it's biased to one side!

I still haven't seen the rule. I found the rule book, but it is very extensive and I'm not that ambitious. However, I haven't seen anything that would force the house to seat her anymore than anything forced McConnell to advise and consent on Garland. Hope you're right though.
