Works by Ivorian photographer and poet Nuits Balnéaires, 2020s, whose practice "explores territories and exile, the passage of time and nostalgia, the social structures and mechanisms that underpin the multiculturalism existing along the current Gulf of Guinea region."
Photo of 3 Black women sitting in the grass, wearing red and black dresses with their faces covered in black lace, arranged in a dynamically cropped composition so their bodies are partly cut off. Photo of a Black man wearing a white shirt and standing against a cloudy dark purple sky, holding a stack of large yellow bowls on his head. Photo of a Black man wearing a striped tunic, sunglasses, and gold head scarf, sitting cross-legged on a sandy ground against a cloudy but bright sky. The entire image has a gold and sepia tone. Photo of a group of Black figures wearing long yellow dresses, standing within a green grass clearing surrounded by trees. Some figures are standing on the branches of a tree in the center of the scene. The figure in the foreground wears a spiked mask and holds their hands up with palms together.

Found in a 1960s issue of Bell Telephone Magazine • Diagrams turned into design — surreal, modern, almost like glitch art.

started this at a zine meet up today - just a cover and a page so far, but i like what it's becoming!
a quarter letter sized sheet of paper with a marble bust of a person with hair just longer than their ears looking to the left. the background is multicolored bingo dots, pink and blue and purple and teal. one is a purple splatter, and words over it read "beneath the quick". another white quarter letter sheet, this time with a few green leaves on it (upper right & lower left), a strange geometric diagram connecting a circle and a half circle (lower right) and a map of a room (upper left). there are more bingo dots, and shapes are colored in green, pink, teal, and blue. there is a blackout poem that reads - "the lie rotates, not completely attached to the loop of fundamental explanation."

The trailer that was promised for upcoming Psycho H mega project, 'All The Colour Of The Dark', all 9 minutes of it, chock full of amateurish technical errors that I'm gonna lean into from this point on and say are intentional.

A drifty, flighty, hazy de-con-struc of 'Midnight Double Feature' by @kennethmc.bsky.social [published by @c22press.bsky.social ], a surrealist collage trip which agrees with David Lynch that the owls are not what they seem + chevrons are not always cars
