I had not seen these complaints, but Trace is 100% correct: a PG13 can only help its box office and has 0 bearing in the movie’s potential quality considering the make up of its cast.

Given what we know about it (i.e., that there are no human characters in it), I honestly don't see a problem with #PredatorBadlands getting a PG-13 rating. The MPA only cares if the blood & gore is red and from a human body. They don't give 2 shits about non-red blood from fictional creatures.
