Stopped at Maid-Rite on our way through Iowa to try local specialties. The loose meat sandwich is fine - tasty enough but not something I'd seek out. The pork tenderloin tho -The pork was perfectly fried and it was delicious, but advertising it as "on a bun", while technically correct, is absurdity.

If you don't know me, you don't know how much this one stings. I'm a massive Star Wars fan - even a former Lucas employee. I'm also a Disney adult, and a lifelong Marvel fan.

The moment he announced it, I knew from living there Chicago wasn't going to just accept it. I think he's about to FAFO with Memphis, too - I was born there, and I don't see that going as smoothly as he thinks.

We had to make the difficult decision last weekend to let Tonks, our 18 year old void kitty, go. I'm absolutely heartbroken. Today, we got back her ashes and I'm blown away by how beautiful the box is that they put her in, and her tiny little pawprint. It brings me some comfort to have her home.
