my family never understood why I liked listening to Japanese music (...anime intros and outros) because I didn't know what they were saying. They couldn't comprehend "I like the way it sounds and it makes my brain feel good!" and dubbed me as weird lol

I think that a lot of the "english only" losers would be a lot happier if they actually listened to music in other languages.

Music is universal and knowing the language isn't necessary for enjoyment.

I can't shake the feeling that my job may be threatened(thanks ai) I'm terrified and hurt. I'm not sure what to think. Part of me says to ignore this feeling and keep working. Part of me says to bunker down on the indie art stuff and prepare for when I lose my job.

Anime is more something I watch with my partners at night when everyone gets home from work, like a wind down time. I'm not into streamers either, I don't have a streaming service. 90% of what I watch is YouTube.

Some say I'm rather bland 😅 they're shocked by my response most of the time
