I think a competitive primary between the two is good, and even if Janet wins it'll be a huge improvement. In light of that, I wish the national Dems would fuck off until after the primary is over.

one of my fav cs youtubers from back in the day is being transphobic on twitter so just have to throw the knowledge out there that he used to have a youtube page where he uploaded nearly 800 videos of himself farting since 2008 called “fart master” which he deleted after it was exposed

Oh fuck off, there were plenty of more radical protesters who wore their police brutality PPE to the last No Kings march in Seattle and literally nothing bad happened. Believe it or not, but the spooky scary antifa groups do in fact know the difference between a direct action and what No Kings is.

Incidentally, I’ve been chafing a bit at the “No Kings” thing, because there are loads of monarchies that have more limits on executive power than the US does, but it has the great advantage that it makes Americans who want to oppose it sound, well, unamerican….

Basically 80% of campaigns, if we're including players getting paid by quest givers to commit a bunch of violence against random strangers who the quest giver wants dead. The average adventurer party is essentially just a very small mercenary outfit.

My favorite aspect of the Columbus legend is him getting rejected by the Portuguese gets spun as them not recognizing the genius of his idea. No - he went into a roomful of expert navigators and made basic math mistakes, they thought he was a moron, and they wouldn't fund his idea on that basis.
