Woke up early so decided to take an impromptu trip to Elk Island National Park. Saw a number of bison along the roads and had a nice encounter with this coyote who was kind enough not to immediately run away. #wildlife #coyote

I was stunned to see several hummingbirds this morning ♥️

Hummingbirds may be tiny, but they’re incredibly strong with a high level of endurance. This makes them symbols of strength and adaptability.

Hummingbirds also can signify a visit from a departed loved one & the beginning of a new era.

BIRD COMBAT SEASON: First time I've ever gotten a still of a bird grabbing another's tail merely to sit in a perch for 40 seconds. Woo! 🪶

East Sumatran banded langurs (Presbytis percura) feed on non-native rubber trees introduced into their habitat. These became a cash crop, with huge swaths of forests destroyed. The langurs are now only found in a few isolated forests. Critically Endangered. Photo: ©Irfan Nurarifin/iNaturalist/CC.
