Somehow, we have to let it pass through. It can visit, but it can't stay. Somewhere inside, I believe I need it to keep from getting hurt, but it's not true. It's not who I'm going to be. I learned to be angry, so I can unlearn it.

I like people. People are, for the most part, kind and good. The anger knows this and is maybe more free-floating than inspired, attaching to things just to feel needed.

I hope it finds the door soon. I think I need a couple days off.

Watching a person in my orbit rage constantly about how everyone can go fuck themselves for not being friendly enough when they are one of the most hostile people I have ever met reminds me that my anger is manageable and doesnt generally slice open the people nearest to me. It's a very good thing.

I have more friends now than I have ever had as a result of knowing this. Despite these little emotional roller coasters. I'm learning to be the kind of person I want to be friends with, and it's working.

The thing about the anger is - Im still nice. I still roll around the neighborhood and work and other spaces being friendly and learning things, building networks, good will, and knowledge. I often show up for people anyway, while still showing up for myself. What you radiate is reflected back.
