In the event of independence the question of if and how iScotland could join the EU has never had *anything* to do with how supportive some MEPs are. This is a deliberate sleight of hand intended to distract from the real questions which are about how we would meet the Copenhagen criteria.

Ash Regan, MSP for Edinburgh Eastern, candidate for SNP leader in 2023 and subsequently Alba leader in 2025, has now quit Alba citing it's "direction". She becomes an Independent and is re-standing as one next year. Alba's - never earned, only defected - parliamentary representation is ended.

My undergraduate degree was in English. I had the chance to study English literature from all over the world, and it gave me so many skills and experiences that I still draw on in my teaching career.

I think Badenoch doesn’t like “Britian.”
