I have said this on multiple occasions, but it won’t be the Epstein list that removes him from power.

It will be the economic pain.

Congress may as well not exist at this point under this Spineless Speaker.

Nine months ago I put most of my hope in major institutions continuing to hold fascism in check, but had little expectation that regular people with little to no power would step up and put themselves at risk.

I had it exactly backward.
signs like these are up all over Chicago cafes and storefronts (here, cafes in Brighton Park and Back of the Yards) warning ICE not to enter without a judicial warrant
What? Just leave the church it sucks.

My fellow Canadians...read this and understand that NOTHING will stop Trump from invading Canada if that's what he wants. The military blindly follows his commands. We see that on the llegal strikes of boats in the Carribean. The US military is now, in reality, Trump's Army. The US is a threat.
"The irreversible gravity of killing, coupled with the lack of a substantive legal justification, is bringing into sharper view a structural weakness of law as a check on the American presidency."

Our military is being paid by an anonymous donor.

Our WH East Wing was demolished for a ballroom - paid for by donors.

These aren’t acts of benevolence or patriotism.

This is the oligarchy assuming control, insidiously becoming part of how we function.

Every American should reject it.

I believe that government employees, including the military, should be paid. This is not the way to do it.

GOV. @gavinnewsom.bsky.social : “They’re talking about getting rid of the Voting Rights Act — that may likely happen in months… they’re rewriting history… ANTI-WOKE IS ANTI-BLACK… we’re not doing enough. We’re not calling this out.”

Would you be helping hide Anne Frank? Would you be helping Harriet Tubman? In Middletown, NY, residents are rising up as ICE agents stalk worksites, profiling people by skin tone. This is state terror—raids without warrants, fear as policy. Everywhere are rejecting cages, walls, & checkpoints.

Everyone’s talking about Steve Bannon saying Trump will be president in 2028. But here’s the point most are missing: He’s openly floating treason and civil war.

“Seizing institutions and purging them.” Isn’t rhetoric, it’s a test to see how far Trump’s followers will go.
