🐿we've been trying to figure out what we can do with the extra area on the deck screen. since the game is released and we can't really adjust the hard lock to the 16:9 aspect ratio, we're experimenting with changing the colors of the bars on the top and bottom to match the rest of the screen

cool fact, my self-hosted PDS is ~500 microseconds away from my apartment over the internet and that PDS is ~500 microseconds away from its S3 endpoint where my blobs live

this is compared to the ~67-75ms jump from my apartment to bsky's US-east PDSs

the site is a LOT snappier for me now :)

It's really a double-edged sword. A job that's draining me letting me go would be awesome mentally/emotionally for a bit, but the crushing weight of financials and no insurance would bury me!
