A mom in Houston reported her 15-year-old son with autism missing. She spent 6 days terrified, searching for him. The whole time, Houston police knew exactly where he was since they helped ICE place him in a refugee facility.

This is beyond cruel.

Janet Mills has done a wonderful job as Governor. I'm from Maine and she embodies the best kind of Mainer- tough, kind, generous, and neighborly. As much as I like her, she is 77, and needs to enjoy retirement. We need fresh ideas and fresh faces in the Senate, not near Octogenarians.

So many reasons but I think a couple of them could be that much of what media does is report what politicians say, & that’s basically it. That won’t include marches. Also, I believe a lot of the media has internalized the right’s criticism of them & so they overcompensate anti-left as a default.
