How do you treat humans Ambelina?

You're in for a treat. It was written in that space between TOS being cancelled and the movie era so it has a vibe that is entirely unique in Trek.

Also it's homoerotic as hell.

If you continue to support the Harry Potter franchise in any way, you are directly funding the removal of trans people's human rights in the UK.

I don't think we needed to go big, but I don't feel we really grappled fully with the events of Earth X. Sure there were touching moments but ultimately I don't see what Earth X was for if we don't delve into Chris' feelings about what happened there.

The character work is top notch. Structurally it was an extremely frustrating finale.

Gotta say I'm disappointed. Amazing character work but structurally it was extremely frustrating and to end on a cliffhanger without any real closure on the season at hand made me less excited about future seasons... which we don't know anything about at the moment anyways.

Also, if you're comparing the two, Johnny Cash is cool. Bob Dylan is a dork, who happened to make some good music.

We might have been too hard on EDHRec. Using that is scholarly research compared to this.

These two always felt very similar to me. Both mutants. Both leaders of their team, but reporting to their adoptive father figure. Both a little too boyscout about things to the point being slightly insufferable.

I've learned to mentally bookmark the last thing someone says before I interject something, so that if someone is taken aback by it or we go on a tangent, I can always go "so anyways you were saying _____."

I know it's more a vibes thing than anything but Star Trek has always had magic of the Clarkes third law variety.

And the existence of things like Izzet has always meant to me that the forces in the MTG multiverse are just part of the natural order with their own rules.

I feel like there's a difference in the level of reinforcement between "pervert can draw himself a picture of a kid" and

I think he was just rushed. I remember reading it and there was a bit where he used the words "well and truly" three times in like three times in a paragraph and a half. There was nothing wrong with any individual use but it was obvious it was rushed with no time to edit for flow.

I love that one. It was still early days for TNG so it was a really rare trip back to Earth (that didn't involve time travel)
and we get to see Starfleet Command.

Even if it feels totally different the next time we visit.
