There are gift occasions! Birthdays are a thing, as are new year festivals. In fact Lahmea's birthday occurs early in THE SANGUINE DUSK. She gets the latest book in a novel series she reads from the matriarch of the Shivnka clan, and favours books and blades. She's...hit and miss at giving.
