Don't forget Microsoft is using open AI stuff all over its own products with their image models and chatbots. Copilot is GPT under the skin. That's being preloaded onto all new Windows PCs and laptops. MS Office, MS Designer etc too. Inescapable.. and they're pushing it into schools to hook kids...

The wise conmen who started it all have removed the bulk of their own funds from these industries and bought up land etc with it, I'm sure. They're letting everyone else suffer again. It's always the way these things work. The hype makes everyone else want to emulate wealth but end up with nothing.

Right? I never got the idea of how this was sold when usb dongles exist or even just micro SD cards for data you needed to transfer from home to office etc. People buy photo storage on the cloud? I just d/l off phone to laptop for SSD storage! Music? I buy CDs and rip to mp3 for listening on the go!

These industries are just weaponised gambling, but instead of betting their own money, they're betting people's futures. Destroying lakes, rivers, polluting, endless microchips with rare metals etc to build intangible "AI" and "crypto" and I'm flabberghasted that more people don't see through it.

a couple of the culprits had organic rice protein in them, organic but sourced from areas with lead or arsenic pollution in the soil/water could still lead to lead or arsenic in the final product if each batch wasn't checked. Also rice protein on its own lacks lysine. This one was the worst.

It seems to be mostly one specific source of imported pea protein that was the cause of the high lead levels.

I think Zuck would prefer a world where hundreds of thousands of people (not him) died and left more space for him and his pals... and also one in which ICE could round up and disappear the poor. So it aligns with his ultimate goal "don't give a fuck about human rights or other people being alive".

Instead of starting by canvassing our opnions on what we wanted from this new party, jumping into "give us money" was a low blow, esp as "whoops, we didn't actually agree to this" and no replies to emails. Had to claim money back from credit card. all the sign ups, none of our views considered.

Also the membership fees fiasco, saying they'd start with grassroots meetings but that not happening, then email "Starmer's resignation speech" which just was clickbait title!

Some of this isn't surprising. From 2015 when millions had joined, eager for a fairer society and change to a sudden turn into "get Corbyn out!" up to 2020 when a giant A3 poster of Starmer appearing in the post, it felt like the party internal structure collapsed, mutating into Tory corporatism.
