This is from an article on the RTE news app today. @mrjamesob.bsky.social your fame reaches across the Irish Sea. Not sure that you’re that combative really, well not nowadays anyway 😉

Same here! Very efficient. Congrats to the NHS and thank you to all the staff who gave up their weekends to do this. Reminds me of when I was a vaccine steward in the covid times. The centre I volunteered in was next to Heathrow and we did 100,000 vaccines in 2 months.

Number of deportations the ECHR have actually blocked since 1980 - 13 (THIRTEEN).

Please remember this next time some grifting populist claims us leaving the ECHR (and sacrificing the rights it gives us in the process) will allow us to ‘control our borders’.

Having illustrated the problem of X ignoring its legal duties, I want to build an effective coalition for intervention. If you are or know people on X receiving racist abuse, rape threats, I would welcome receipts of one rejected attempt to report to the platform an indefensible case

Thanks for this kind note. I hope to do something useful with this by Nov/Dec (new Ofcom powers, new EHRC chair). I'd like more women + ethnic minorities to go through (futile) process of reporting shocking stuff (eg rape threats, p-word, n-word) & share receipts with me of one egregious example

If I had 6-12 people who had reported something unlawful & obviously indefensible, get the report rejected, and be willing to speak/advocate about it, that would be a good basis for asking a wider group of people - eg MPs - to support the call for an intervention & investigation of legal duties

Rep. Buddy Carter: "Donald Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. That's why I'm introducing a resolution today that will honor him with the Nobel Peace Prize."

(It doesn't work like that lol)

New polling by YouGov, commissioned by Best for Britain, shows: 46% of potential Conservative voters consider Brexit a failure.

Of those voters, 51% say that Brexit has damaged the economy, and 50% say it has damaged our ability to trade with the EU.

I see Robert Jenrick is supporting Hamit Coskun who is appealing his conviction by reference to the ECHR (which Jenrick wants to withdraw from).

Who knew that the ECHR could be useful, even to the anti-ECHR Hard Right?

That's Nigel "Twelve Jobs, Four Homes and a Chauffeur driven BMW" Farage to you !

Labour need to shouting this from the roof tops.

They need to be challenging Farage over his multiple jobs.
They need to be challenging Reform over their tex exile donor base.
They need to be challenging Reform policies at every opportunity.
