She asked if she could borrow one & then spent the rest of the hour reading, & told me that it’s the first time she’s actually wanted to keep reading & couldn’t wait to get home to read more.

The picture of the First Presbyterian Church of Chicago pastor being pepper sprayed by a masked ICE agent reminded me of civil rights protestors in Birmingham being sprayed with high-pressure water hoses in the 60s.

Serious question: What's stopping the State of Illinois from arresting Stephen Miller & charging him with incitement?

The Senate didn't confirm him. He's just a guy.

At some point, the states MUST use their authority to prosecute, because the federal government certainly will not.
