@sbworkersunited.org Enthusiastic supporter of the strike wondering if there's a boilerplate text we could send to Sb of the "I'm a regular patron and won't be visiting any Starbucks until you negotiate in good faith with the striking employees" variety. We should be telling them we're boycotting.

Thank you, Ivan! How about: I'm a regular patron and won't be visiting any Starbucks until you finalize a fair union contract and stop union busting.

We appreciate the solidarity!

The draft dodging idiot posted a pic of this West Point plaque. It contains these words:

“Our American Code of Military Obedience requires that, should orders and the law ever conflict, our officers must obey the law.”

That is precisely what Senator Mark Kelly told officers to do. #NoSedition

After ousting the BLS director and scrapping the October jobs and inflation reports, Trump is now canceling release of the advance Q3 GDP estimate.

Trump doesn't mind turning the lights off on the economy because he’d rather Americans not know how badly it’s doing under him.

If I haven’t lost count entirely, this was the fourth time Europe was fooled.

So yes it’s about time to finally figure out our own strategy instead of putting all energy into humouring Trump.
Yes, but it is also a fact now that there is a pattern to it.

As the saying goes, fool me once, shame on you, fool my twice, shame on me. The Europeans should no longer dellude themselves that a Trump/Vance US can be a reliable ally.
The Trump cycle on Russia-Ukraine. Some pro-Russian plan emerges. Instant commentariat renew their "Trump as Russian plant" stories. Plan is amended under EU (and US) pressure. Putin rejects it. Instant commentariat is puzzled. Rinse and repeat. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/24/u...
