One of my fav movie moments is when Bill Murray's character in Groundhog Day keeps catching this kid who falls out of a tree every day and Murray says "You have never thanked me!" That sums up everything.

Was talking about this w/a slightly younger (late 40’s) friend today.
I told him I believe the Golden Rule we were raised on was diluted & then destroyed when replaced by “hey, it’s only business” & “greed is good”
in the 80’s.

Another US airstrike in Somalia happened yesterday, near Kismayo. AFRICOM released no casualty figures or other information beyond saying it "targeted" al-Shabaab. This is by my count the 87th strike or series of strikes announced by AFRICOM this year, by far the most ever in a year in Somalia.
