I made a pneumatic rocket launch platform for my nephews because my sister says they're too young for chemical rockets and fire. The 5 y.o. figured out it can launch anything, including his pants, & it makes a fart noise doing it. They love it.

A stand with paper rockets to launch. The mechanism is PVC wrapped in silver duct tape. Some paint and decoration is on a plywood base.

My grandfather, a Pacific theater veteran shot down & torpedoed & with a box of medals, was painfully dyslexic- in Depression-era Texas. He spent his whole life thinking he was broken & dumb, but had high hopes for the future. They're shitting on his sacrifices & suffering & that's a lot to take.

Providing a free, fair, and robust public education for all children is written into a number of state constitutions. This could go all the way, where Alito will write there was no mention of <slur omitted> in the constitution so fuck'em- then declare like, Houghton Mifflin an enemy of the state.

Even more alarming, 54% of American adults read at a level below a sixth-grade level, which significantly limits their ability to comprehend complex information vital for democratic participation.
