A bright spot from our trip: We went to Railroad BBQ and it was delicious. It took some chutzpah to give us some utensils that had no knives included, but we didn’t need them at all. Everything just fell apart! 😍

Thanks; and I know that. But man, it’s hard to see people seeming to be okay with this kind of shit. I feel like I’ve lost out on a lot professionally and even personally being vocally anti-child exploitation and sexual abuse/assault, and that’s frankly pretty scary and sad.

scary, especially because all people did was laugh at it. I got upset and yelled at people. Now I’ve probably lost potential connections because I was mad they were laughing at what felt like borderline CSAM. 2/2

Also, I had to go to a film fest of sorts where someone screened a found film where someone was masturbating. But it was also cut with scenes of children. For example, children would be playing in a pool. Then this creep would film himself masturbating in the same spot. It was triggering and 1/2

The right’s Nobel obsession is useful because it is inexplicable as anything other than trying to make Trump personally happy. 95% of all Trumpworld obsessions have the same root (2020 election, James/Comey) but rarely is it so hard to retcon a justification for it.
